About

I guess Syrup started off when I had the idea in 2014, about the time I was discovering new music, clothes, people, whatever. The things you do when you grow up. After watching just about every interview and listening to every song under the sun by Tyler, the Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Odd Future and shit, I began to learn about different things. Shit like knowing you can do whatever you want, however you want, not giving a fuck, etc etc. This really turned everything around for me and allowed me to think so much more freely in a way. It was wild.

Also, before that I had been editing videos for around 2 - 3 years, editing video games with music and adding effects in and synchronising them up to the music. This was probably due to always being interested in video and especially editing. It's one of my favourite things. I've just always enjoyed making things and showing people what I can create, and it was really fun.

The meaning behind is Syrup is to just have fun in whatever you're doing, and just do what you feel comfortable doing and shit. Nothing deep. I enjoy being stupid and loud and annoying, I always have, and I also like saying nothing and just listening to music or watching a film for hours. I like making little artworks and putting them somewhere like clothes and other stuff, and just having fun doing photoshoots and just expressing shit.

I created Syrup to build a family almost. I want a tight group of people, big or small, to fuck with all things that I make, and for people to gain something from being interested in what I do. I love a lot of things. I love discovering new music, videos, art and shit, but I also really love things I have always enjoyed, like editing, music, and making shit. I also love the idea of being famous too I think that'd be tight.

I don't know. I'm not asking anyone to love or hate things I make and do. So if you do, thats great, if you don't, that's all good too. I'm going to work hard and make a little idea become a huge reality with Syrup. So thank you to everyone so far who's made it possible for me to do that. Syrup is a family.
